Imam, MD, MSc (Orth)(Hons), D SportMed, Ph.D, FRCS (Tr & Orth)Professor Imam is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and Clinical Lead for Trauma Surgery at the renowned Rowley Bristow Orthopaedic Centre, Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals, UK, where he also serves as the Director of Research and Development.A pioneer at the intersection of surgery and technology, he is the Professor of Digital Health and the Executive Medical Director at the Smart Health Centre at the University of East London. His work specializes in leveraging artificial intelligence to improve outcomes in high-stakes trauma environments.

Professor Imam is a prolific academic with over 150 peer-reviewed publications and has led multiple international clinical trials. He is also the editor of two reference books on upper-limb trauma published by Springer Nature and currently editing multiple books.
