Luis Alvarez Galovich

From my time as an Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology resident, I knew I wanted to be a spine surgeon. It is an exciting specialty that combines great challenges with the need for exquisite precision. At the end of my residency, I decided to go to complete my training at one of the best centers in the world, the Hospital for Special Surgery, where I worked during 1996 and 97 alongside the greatest professionals of the time.

In 2015, and after my international experience and in the public sector, I decided to form the best private Spine Unit, with the structure of one of the most renowned hospitals in Spain, the Jiménez Díaz Foundation, and bringing together a multidisciplinary team of highly qualified professionals. Our formula is simple, we put all our knowledge and effort into improving the life of each patient, always making them participate in each stage of the treatment.

So far we are a reference Center for complex deformity, specially in elderly population, and in the management with minimal invasive techniques, and the used of last technology.
