Professor Kerem Başarır, MD, currently works as an orthopedic surgeon in Ankara’s private clinic. His clinical focus is primary and revision total knee and hip replacement and orthopedic oncology together with complex reconstructive cases.
He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed articles in well-known journals including JBJS (Am), JBJS (Br), Clinical Orthopedics and Related Research; J. Arthroplasty, and Int Orthopedics. He gained an associate professorship at the Ankara University Medical School in 2013. His research includes all clinical arthroplasty science and numerous basic science studies in the complete field of orthopedics and orthopedic oncology. He has been an active instructor of the national arthroplasty, and orthopedic oncology associations and has given lectures at all relevant meetings in Turkey. He is also a board member of the Turkish National Orthopedic Association.
