Muzahem Taha

Dr.Muzahem M.Taha was born on June 1976 in Iraq and completed his medical education and specialty in orthopedic surgery in Baghdad. Then he enrolled in many fellowships and postgraduate training in USA and Europe to get his sub-specialty in spine surgery.

He currently is an Associate Professor in orthopedic and spine surgery at Kirkuk university in Iraq and a Head of the Orthopaedic and Spine department at Erbil international hospital.

He has served in many international expert committees and organizations such as AOspine, Eurospine, the Iraqi board for medical specialization, and AIMISS.

His main research areas are minimally invasive spine surgery and degenerative spine and he served as a chairman and speaker in more than 50 international Congress.

He is now holding the position of AOspine Middle East and North Africa education officer, AOspine Education Task force member, and AOspine international education commission member
