Mark Rickman

Associate Professor Rickman is a member of the Wakefield Orthopedic Clinic and is a highly experienced orthopedic and trauma surgeon as well as one of the world’s leading pelvic surgeons.

He has worked at the prestigious King Edward VII Hospital in London, been the surgeon of choice for a number of Royal families and has worked for two English Premier League football teams. 

Prof Rickman completed his Fellowship in Adelaide in 2005, and then worked in London at St George’s Hospital – one of London’s four Major Trauma Centers, where he was Head of Department. He is now permanently based in Adelaide as Director of Orthopedic Trauma at the New Royal Adelaide Hospital.  Mark is a renowned expert in orthopedic surgery and regularly teaches on orthopedic courses around the world.  

Mark is a member of the Wakefield Orthopedic Clinic and has operating rights and regular clinics at Calvary Adelaide Hospital, Calvary Central District Hospital, Western Hospital and Mildura Private Hospital.   He also has operating rights at Calvary North Adelaide, as well as regular clinics at Kings Park Medical Centre.
