Cristiano Hossri Ribeiro

• Dr. Cristiano Hossri Ribeiro is an orthopedic and trauma surgeon with recognized expertise in knee surgery and sports traumatology. He completed his residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology, followed by Master’s and PhD degrees, at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo, one of Brazil’s leading academic centers in orthopedics.

Dr. Ribeiro maintains an active academic and research career, with scientific publications focused on knee preservation procedures, tibial osteotomies, and sports-related injuries. His research and clinical work contribute to the advancement of joint preservation and orthopedic surgical techniques.

He is the Founder and President of the Paraíba Valley Sports Trauma Congress, a well-established scientific meeting dedicated to continuing medical education in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, now in its 10th edition.

Clinically, Dr. Ribeiro serves as a Partner, Knee Surgeon, and Director of Hospital Orto in São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Brazil—an institution dedicated exclusively to orthopedic care. He also coordinates the Hospital Orto Study Center, promoting education, research, and innovation in orthopedics and health care.

Additionally, Dr. Ribeiro has participated in the development of international patents in collaboration with Swiss research centers, highlighting his commitment to innovation and translational research in orthopedic surgery.
