John Antoniou

 Dr. John Antoniou is an orthopaedic surgeon at the Jewish General Hospital (Montreal) and the Research Director of the Orthopaedic Research Laboratory at the Lady Davis Institute. He is a full tenured Professor of Surgery and Research Director of the McGill University’s Division of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. Antoniou was invited to present his work in over 200 international conferences, workshops symposiums and courses, and over 500 abstracts were presented at national and international meetings. He published and co-authored over 170 original articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Antoniou has recently served as the president of the Canadian Orthopaedic Research Society. He is the co-chair of the ORS’s International Combined Orthopaedic Research Society committee since 2013 and in June 2018 he began serving as the COA’s President for the year 2018-2019. He is a scientific reviewer for journals, conferences, grant task forces and serves on several editorial boards along with being recipient of several prestigious awards.
